For parents that require it, Wiltshire County Council provide free, part-time, nursery education places for all three and four year olds in Ramsbury. Free nursery education comprises up to five 3 hour sessions per week (i.e. 15 hours), for up to thirty eight weeks of the year. Parents do not contribute towards this minimum entitlement but are charged for childcare that is additional to the free entitlement place.

Each term, the committee receives a grant for eligible children. Parents will receive an invoice, once per term, for supplementary fees.

In Wiltshire’s early years settings, for all three and four year olds, free entitlement funding is currently worth up to £1643.50 a year. Children become eligible for a free place from the start of the term after their third birthday.
